Stephan Pastis

Stephan Pastis is an American cartoonist best known for creating the comic strip Pearls Before Swine, which began syndication in 2000 after years of drawing while practicing law. A former attorney who studied political science at UC Berkeley and law at UCLA, he transitioned from a nine-year legal career to full-time cartooning and later authored the New York Times bestselling children's series Timmy Failure.[1][2][3]
