Stephan P Winter

Stephen Winter is an award-winning American filmmaker, director, producer, and writer based in New York City for over 30 years, known for his debut film Chocolate Babies (1996) about queer activists of color and Jason and Shirley. He has also directed the 2023 narrative science fiction podcast The Space Within starring Jessica Chastain, co-created the sci-fi comedy horror series Adventures In New America, and co-wrote the Spotify documentary Sound Barrier: Sylvester. Winter describes himself as 'the heartbeat of queer cinema in New York City.'
