Staughton Lynd
Staughton Lynd was an American historian, lawyer, and political activist known for his work in civil rights, antiwar organizing, labor rights, and prisoner advocacy. He was a prominent figure in the New Left and is especially associated with grassroots organizing and 'history from the bottom up.'
