Stanley I Greenspan

Stanley I. Greenspan was an American child psychiatrist and clinical professor of psychiatry, behavioral sciences, and pediatrics at George Washington University Medical School. He is best known for developing the DIR/Floortime model, a developmental framework for understanding and treating children with autism and other developmental challenges. His work emphasized the importance of emotional relationships in child development and influenced parenting and therapeutic practices worldwide.
