Stanley B. Lippman

Stanley B. Lippman (1950–2022) was an American computer scientist and author best known for co-authoring the influential C++ Primer (5th edition) and Inside the C++ Object Model. He worked closely with Bjarne Stroustrup at Bell Laboratories during the early development of C++, later becoming an architect for Visual C++ at Microsoft in 2001, and held positions at Emergent Game Technologies, NASA, Pixar, and 2kQubits.
