Stanislav J. Kirschbaum
Stanislav J. Kirschbaum is a professor of International Studies at York University's Glendon College, where he teaches in both English and French, and has also taught at Trnavská univerzita in Trnava, Slovakia. He is renowned for his research on Slovakia, Slovak politics, and history, authoring the first English-language history of Slovakia, *A History of Slovakia: The Struggle for Survival*, now in its second edition, along with numerous books and journal contributions. In 2002, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the highest academic honor in the country.
