Kathy Whitehead is an author and former elementary school teacher who holds an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. Her classroom experience inspired her writing, particularly the book 'Art from Her Heart: Folk Artist...' which celebrates folk art and literature for children. She lives in College Station, Texas, with her husband Bill and has two children, Jeff and Stephanie.
