Sonia Levitin

Sonia Levitin is a German-American author known for award-winning novels and picture books for children and young adults, many of which draw on her Holocaust-survivor family history and other Jewish historical experiences. Born in Berlin in 1934, she later moved to the United States, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, and published more than forty books across her career.
