Sloane Crosley
Sloane Crosley is the author of New York Times bestselling essay collections including I Was Told There’d Be Cake (a 2009 finalist for the Thurber Prize for American Humor), How Did You Get This Number, Look Alive Out There (a 2019 finalist for the Thurber Prize), and Grief Is for People, as well as novels Cult Classic and The Clasp, both adapted for film.[1][2] A Guggenheim and Yaddo Fellow, she has taught at Columbia University’s MFA program, Dartmouth, and Yale Writers’ Workshop, and lives in New York City.[1]
