Sir Sidney Colvin
Sir Sidney Colvin (1845–1927) was a British curator, literary critic, and art critic primarily remembered for his friendship with Robert Louis Stevenson and his impartial literary biographies, including works on Walter Savage Landor and John Keats. He served as the Slade Professor of Fine Art at Cambridge, the first director of the Fitzwilliam Museum, and Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum from 1884 to 1912, before being knighted in 1911.
