Sir Doyle, Arthur Conan
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930) was a Scottish writer and physician best known for creating Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, characters who became enduring icons of detective fiction. He also wrote the Professor Challenger novel The Lost World and produced poetry, historical fiction, and adventure stories.
