Simon Parkin

Simon Parkin is a British author, journalist, and contributing writer for The New Yorker, where he often writes about technology, video games, and narrative non-fiction. He is the author of books including 'Death by Video Game' and 'The Island of Extraordinary Captives,' a work about Hutchinson Internment Camp during World War II, and has won awards such as the Wingate Literary Prize. A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he graduated from King’s College, grew up in London, and lives in West Sussex near Brighton.[2][3][5]
