Simon Jimenez

Simon Jimenez is a Filipino-American writer of speculative fiction, best known for his novels The Vanished Birds (2020) and The Spear Cuts Through Water. His debut novel received nominations for the 2021 Locus Award for Best First Novel and the Arthur C. Clarke Award, while he was nominated for the Astounding Award for Best New Writer. He holds an MFA from Emerson College and has won the British Fantasy Award and IAFA Crawford Award.
