Simms Taback
Simms Taback was an American author, illustrator, and graphic designer known for his distinctive children's books and playful artwork. He won the Caldecott Medal for "Joseph Had a Little Overcoat" and the Caldecott Honor for "I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly," and also worked as an art director and teacher.[1][4][7]
