Sidney Sheldon

Sidney Sheldon (1917–2007) was an acclaimed American writer who began his career writing Broadway plays and screenplays, winning an Academy Award for *The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer* (1947). He created hit TV series like *I Dream of Jeannie* and *Hart to Hart*, then transitioned to novels in his fifties, producing 18 bestsellers such as *The Other Side of Midnight* and *Master of the Game*, selling over 300 million copies worldwide.[1][2]
