Shirley Allen

Shirley S. Allen (1921–2013) was an American educator and author who later in life wrote a biographical novel about her great-grandmother, Roxanna Britton. After raising three children, she became a professor of English at the University of Connecticut and published her first known book, 'Roxanna Britton,' in 2001.
