She Lao

Lao She (pen name of Shu Qingchun) was a Chinese novelist and playwright of Manchu ethnicity, widely regarded as one of the most important writers of 20th-century Chinese literature. He is best known for works such as *Rickshaw Boy* and *Teahouse*, noted for their vivid use of Beijing dialect and portrayals of urban life.[2][4][5]
