Shanna Groves

Shanna Groves, known online as Lipreading Mom, is an author and advocate for hearing loss awareness. Diagnosed with progressive bilateral sensorineural hearing loss at age 27 following the birth of her first son in 2001, she has become a prominent voice in the DeafandHoH community. She has written multiple books including 'Confessions of a Lip Reading Mom' and 'Lip Reader,' and maintains an active blog and speaking career focused on her experiences as a hard of hearing mother.
