Seymour Hicks

Seymour Hicks was a popular English actor-manager, playwright, and music hall performer who enjoyed a long career from the late 19th century into the 1940s. Known for his versatility, he wrote and starred in numerous comedies, pantomimes, and musical plays, and became famous as Scrooge in his own adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
