Seymour Berger

Seymour Perry 'Sy' Berger (1923-2014) was a legendary employee of the Topps company for over 50 years and is credited as co-designer of the 1952 Topps baseball series. He is widely regarded as 'the father of modern baseball cards' for his pioneering work in the trading card industry.
