Serope Kalpakjian

Serope Kalpakjian is a professor of mechanical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he has been teaching since 1963. He graduated with High Honors from Robert College and earned S.M. degrees from Harvard University in 1951 and from MIT in Mechanical Engineering in 1953, later working at Cincinnati Milacron, Inc. He is a prolific author of manufacturing textbooks, including 'Manufacturing Processes for Engineering Materials' and 'Manufacturing Engineering and Technology', and has received awards such as the M. Eugene Merchant Manufacturing Textbook Award; he is also a registered Professional Engineer and Certified Manufacturing Engineer.[1][2][3][4]
