Serge Gruzinski
Serge Gruzinski is a French historian specializing in Latin American history, art history, and global history, trained as an archivist-paleographer at the École Nationale des Chartes.[1][2] He serves as emeritus research director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and director of studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris.[1][2] Author of numerous books on colonial Mexico, globalization, and cultural interactions, including 'The Conquest of Mexico' and 'Images at War,' he has received awards such as the Prix Roger Caillois and the International Prize for History.[1][4]
