Scott P. Mainwaring

Scott P. Mainwaring is an American political scientist and educator at the University of Notre Dame, where he serves as the Eugene and Helen Conley Professor of Political Science. His research focuses on democratization, political parties and party systems, presidentialism, representation, democratic transitions, and democratic breakdown, especially in Latin America.
