Scott Magoon

Scott Magoon, born August 31, 1972, is a New York Times bestselling author-illustrator of nearly 50 children's books, including The Extincts, Breathe, and the Nuts series by Eric Litwin.[1][2][3][4] A self-taught illustrator and former book designer at Candlewick Press and Houghton Mifflin, he has illustrated over 20 books and creates quirky art for young readers.[1][3] Native to New England and based in Boston, MA, Magoon dreamed of becoming an illustrator from childhood.[2][3][4]
