Sarah Wynn-Williams

Sarah Wynn-Williams is a New Zealand lawyer, diplomat, public policy expert, and author who served as Director of Global Public Policy at Facebook from 2011 to 2017, overseeing regions including Latin America, Canada, and Asia-Pacific.[1][2][3] Prior to Facebook, she worked as a diplomat at the New Zealand embassy in Washington, DC, with the United Nations, and for Oxfam International.[2][4] In 2025, she published the New York Times #1 bestseller *Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism*, a memoir detailing her experiences at Facebook amid legal disputes with Meta.[1][3]
