Sarah Vowell
Sarah Vowell is an American historian, writer, journalist, and social commentator born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who has written seven nonfiction books examining American history and culture through personal, often humorous narratives. She was a contributing editor for the public radio program This American Life from 1996 to 2008 and is known for her distinctive voice, which she also lent to the character Violet Parr in the animated film The Incredibles (2004).
