Sarah Manguso

Sarah Manguso (born 1974) is an American writer, poet, and essayist known for her fragmented prose style in works like *The Two Kinds of Decay* and *Ongoingness*. She was born and raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and has received numerous accolades including the Rome Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and an American Academy of Arts and Letters Literature Award. Her most recent novel, *Very Cold People*, was published in 2022.
