Sara Pennypacker
Sara Pennypacker is an acclaimed American author of children's books, best known for the New York Times bestselling Clementine series, Pax, Pax Journey Home, and titles like Summer of the Gypsy Moths and Pierre in Love. Born in Massachusetts in 1951, she began her career as a watercolorist before focusing on writing, producing over twenty-seven children's books that have earned awards including the Golden Kite and Christopher Award. She also wrote an adult novel, My Enemy's Cradle, under the pseudonym Sara Young, and is the founder of ShareOurBooks.org.
