Sara Gruen
Sara Gruen is a Canadian-American author born in Vancouver in 1969, raised in London, Ontario, and educated at Carleton University with a degree in English literature. She moved to the U.S. in 1999, worked as a technical writer until 2001, then pursued fiction full-time, achieving bestseller status with novels like Water for Elephants, which sold over 10 million copies and was adapted into a film.
