Sara Cedar Miller

Sara Cedar Miller is the historian emerita of the Central Park Conservancy, where she served as the organization's official photographer from 1984-1989 and historian from 1989-2024.[1][2] Her photographic documentation of Central Park's deterioration in the 1980s became instrumental in mobilizing the park's restoration efforts.[3] She is an award-winning author and lecturer on Central Park's history, including the book 'Before Central Park.'[4]
