Sangharakshita

Sangharakshita (born Dennis Lingwood) was a British Buddhist teacher, writer, and founder of the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community. After studying and practicing Buddhism in India and Sri Lanka, he became a leading figure in the transmission of Buddhism to the modern West and played an important role in the revival of Buddhism in India through his work with Ambedkarite Buddhists.
