Samuel Butler

Samuel Butler (1835-1902) was an English novelist, satirist, and critic, best known for his satirical utopian novel 'Erewhon' and the posthumously published semi-autobiographical novel 'The Way of All Flesh'. His works often challenged Victorian social conventions and religious orthodoxy.
