Salina Yoon
Salina Yoon, born Yoon, Ah in Busan, Korea in 1972, immigrated to the United States at age 4 and studied graphic design at California State University, Northridge and illustration at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena. She began her career as a book designer and art director before becoming an award-winning author, illustrator, and format designer of nearly 200 innovative novelty books for young children, including the Penguin series starting with Penguin and Pinecone and the Bear series from Found.[4][1][3][7]
