Safiya Mohamed

Safiya Mohamed is a student at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN, studying Journalism with a minor in Justice & Peace Studies and serving as a Dease Scholar in the Department of Emerging Media.[1][3] She is a poet who performed her poem 'HOOYO' dedicated to all mothers at the Somali Week Festival in London 2024.[2] Additionally, she is an author known for self-help books such as *Mastering Power Within: Transform Your Life From Within*.[5]
