Ryan Adams

David Ryan Adams, born November 5, 1974, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, is an American alt-country/rock singer-songwriter known for his prolific output, including 22 studio albums and critical acclaim for works like Heartbreaker (2000) and Gold (2001). Initially a member of the band Whiskeytown, he launched a successful solo career blending singer-songwriter angst with garage rock energy, earning seven Grammy nominations and collaborations with artists like Willie Nelson and Weezer. Adams has also published poetry books such as Infinity Blues (2009) and currently resides in Los Angeles.
