Roy LANCASTER

Charles Roy Lancaster CBE (born 1937) is a British plantsman, gardener, author, and broadcaster, best known for his appearances on BBC's Gardeners' World and Gardeners' Question Time.[1] Born in Farnworth, Lancashire, he developed a passion for plants from childhood, later working at Hillier’s Nursery, writing books like The Hillier’s Manual of Trees and Shrubs, and leading plant exploration tours worldwide.[1][4] His autobiography My Life with Plants (2017) chronicles his career in British horticulture.[1][3]
