Rough Guides
Rough Guides is a travel guidebook series and company founded in 1982 by Mark Ellingham with the first title, The Rough Guide to Greece, which helped redefine independent travel publishing. Originally a publisher of guidebooks, it expanded into customized travel services and tailor-made trips planned by local experts in 2018. It is known for in-depth historical, sightseeing, and cultural information written primarily by European authors.
