Roslyn Poignant

Roslyn Poignant (1927–2019) was an Australian visual anthropologist, historian, and writer known for her work on ethnographic photography and its relationship to colonization. She was described as a respected scholar and historical detective, and her research contributed significantly to Aboriginal history and museum studies.
