Ron Goor

Ron Goor (1940-2021) was a biochemist, health expert, photographer, and author who collaborated with his wife Nancy Goor on numerous children's books and health-focused titles like 'Eater's Choice.' He served as National Coordinator of the Coronary Primary Prevention Trial and Cholesterol Education Program at the NIH before developing independent health programs.[1][2][6] At age 31, he discovered a personal health issue that influenced his career shift toward photography and writing.[2]
