Roland Mathias
Roland Mathias was a Welsh poet, educator, and literary critic born in 1915 in Breconshire, Wales.[1][3] He had a significant teaching career, ultimately becoming headmaster of Pembroke Grammar School, while also establishing himself as a notable writer of poetry and short stories.[1] He was deeply involved in the Welsh literary community, co-founding the literary magazines Dock Leaves and The Anglo-Welsh Review, which he edited from 1961 to 1976.[1][3]
