Roderick Beaton

Roderick Beaton is a British scholar of modern Greek and Byzantine studies, best known as the Emeritus Koraes Professor of Modern Greek and Byzantine History, Language and Literature at King’s College London. He grew up in Edinburgh, studied English Literature and then Modern Greek at Cambridge, and has written widely on Greek history, language, literature, and Lord Byron.
