Robin Fedden

Robin Fedden (1908-1977) was a British writer born in Oxfordshire, son of Romilly Fedden and Katharine Waldo Douglas. He attended Clifton College in Bristol and Magdalene College. Known for his memoir Chantemesle: A Normandy Childhood and works on description, travel, history, and guidebooks, he was awarded the CBE.
