Roberto Remo Bissio

Roberto Bissio is the executive director of the Third World Institute (Instituto del Tercer Mundo), a nonprofit research and advocacy organization based in Uruguay, and coordinates the secretariat of Social Watch. He has been a journalist and columnist covering development issues since 1973 and is the author of reference books such as 'Third World Guide' and 'World Guide'.
