Robert Wrede

Robert Wrede (1837-1841) was a merchant and traveller who emigrated to New South Wales, arriving in January 1838 on the Upton Castle. He travelled throughout Port Phillip and became an accomplished marksman and navigator, documenting his experiences in a journal that provides historical insight into early colonial Australia.
