Robert T. Gordon

Robert Gordon is an American writer and filmmaker from Memphis, Tennessee, known for his work on the American South, including its music, art, and politics. He authored the definitive biography *Can’t Be Satisfied: The Life and Times of Muddy Waters* in 2002 and directed documentaries such as *All Day and All Night: Memories from Beale Street Musicians* and *Muddy Waters: Can't Be Satisfied*. His other books include *It Came from Memphis* (1994) and *The King on the Road* (1996).[1][2]
