Robert Service
Robert William Service was an English-born Canadian poet and writer best known for vivid ballads about the Yukon and the Klondike Gold Rush. Often called the "Bard of the Yukon" or the "Canadian Kipling," he published popular poetry collections such as "Songs of a Sourdough" and later spent much of his life in France.
