Robert Nichols

Robert Malise Bowyer Nichols was an English poet and playwright, known as one of the early "soldier-poets" of World War I. He studied at Winchester College and Trinity College, Oxford, served briefly in the Royal Field Artillery, later taught at Tokyo Imperial University, and also wrote plays, fiction, and war poetry anthologies.
