Robert Milne
Robert Milne, also known as Robert Duncan Milne, was a Scottish-born author and journalist who emigrated to the United States in the 1860s and became a pioneering figure in early science fiction literature. He published over sixty science fiction stories featuring themes like time travel and alien life in San Francisco periodicals such as The Argonaut before his untimely death in a street accident in 1899. His work, though largely forgotten for decades, is now recognized as foundational to the modern science fiction genre.
