Robert McCammon
Robert Rick McCammon, born July 17, 1952, in Birmingham, Alabama, is an American novelist renowned for his contributions to horror literature in the 1970s–1990s, with bestsellers like Swan Song, Stinger, and The Wolf’s Hour. His 1991 novel Boy’s Life won the World Fantasy Award, after which he shifted from horror, retired from publishing for a decade due to frustrations with publishers, and later returned with historical fiction like Speaks the Nightbird. He co-founded the Horror Writers Association and has authored 28 novels and short story collections.[1][2][3][6]
