Robert M. Grant
Robert M. Grant (1917–2014) was a distinguished American academic theologian and the most influential historian of ancient Christianity of his generation, serving as the Carl Darling Buck Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago. He authored over 33 books and hundreds of articles on early Christianity and was also an internationally recognized expert on World War I U-boats. Grant passed away at age 96 in Hyde Park, Illinois.
